Privacy Policy

FaceDownloader is built to download videos without keeping anything about you or what you download. This page explains exactly what we do and do not store.

What we don't store

• We never permanently store the videos you download. Files are streamed to you and removed.
• We never store the URLs you paste. They are processed for your request and discarded.
• We never store cookies you import for private videos (see below).
• We don't require an account, so we hold no profile, email or password.

Temporary files

To prepare your download we may write a temporary file on our server. These files are automatically deleted within 15 minutes, and your download link expires with them.

Cookies for private videos

Some platforms require your session to access private content. When you choose the cookie import, your cookies are written to a single-use temporary file, used only for that one download, and deleted immediately afterwards. They are never written to a database, never logged, and never reused.

Logs

We keep minimal operational logs to run the service and prevent abuse. We do not log the URLs you submit in clear text — only a platform name and an internal request id.

Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can manage ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings.

Your responsibility

FaceDownloader is a tool. You are responsible for respecting the copyright and terms of service of the platforms you download from and only downloading content you have the right to.
